Checkbox(es) Quick Setup

Lets check how to simple setup single checkbox or group of checkboxes with base settings.

Single checkbox

WCP Contact Form :: Settings :: Form Tab :: Checkbox(es) Field Type :: Quick Setup :: CheckboxTo create single checkbox you need to use following options (based on numbers on the image below):

  1. Choose “Checkbox(es)” field type;
  2. Set some field name as technical name for internal usage (“Newsletter” on the example image);
  3. Choose necessary field options: “Visibility” / “Required” / “Export to CSV“;
  4. Press on button with “gear” to open additional field settings;
  5. Add necessary number of choices by “Add New” button and set some text values to the corresponding “Label” fields for each choice (“Do you agree to receive newsletter?” as single choice on the on the example image).

After these steps you need to save form settings and check the result on the site frontend.

Group of checkboxes

  1. Choose “Checkbox(es)” field type;
  2. Set some field name as technical name for internal usage (“Colors” on the example image);
  3. Choose necessary field options: “Visibility” / “Required” / “Export to CSV“;
  4. Press on button with “gear” to open additional field settings;
  5. Set some text value for display label into “Display Label” field (“Please choose one or several colors:” on the on the example image);
  6. Add necessary number of choices by “Add New” button and set some text values to the corresponding “Label” fields for each choice (“Red“, “Green“, “Blue” on the on the example image);
  7. Set some text value for text note below the field into “Description” field (“Please choose one or several colors that you want to use.” on the example image).
NB! Please note, that “Display Label” and “Description” fields are optional and you can leave them empty.

After these steps you need to save form settings and check the result on the site frontend.
